     Soooooo.... I competed in the first round of the 'Last Comic Stranded' comedy competition at Side Splitters. It was super duper fun. Nice crowd. Blahblah blahh long story short...


I'm moving on to the final round!

     Hooray!!! Contests aren't stupid and random! I was just kidding before! haha. hehe.

     Now, it's finals time, bay bay. Three comics from my round plus the winners from another group, duke it out for the prize and all da glory. Sooo much gloryyy.

    Soooooo... if you wanted to come and vote for Victoria "ya gurl" Yepes. That'd be cool. If you wanted to come and not vote for Victoria "ya gurl" Yepes, that would be way less cool...

This weekend, August 30-September 2, I am hosting for Happy Cole @ Side Splitters.

     What?! Another chance to see me?! Incredible. 
And Happy Cole is real cool. He's our most requested act. He's from Tampatamps. He's done cruise ships, Maybe I can get some of that cruise ship magic from him.... 
And apparently he was on "Clarissa Explains It All"?! And suddenly, I can't breathe. #90skid

The point is, it's real cool to perform with him. I am pumped.

     The other day Gramps didn't want to go to daycare. He said he was bored with it, that the 'novelty had worn off.'

Last Comic Stranded

Comedy Competition      This Saturday (08/18/18 - what a sweet date), I'm participating in the 'Last Comic Stranded' comedy competition at Side Splitters Comedy Club in Tampa, Fla. 20 comics (10 in one show, 10 in another) will compete for 4 spots in the final round. And the winner gets to go on a cruise (!) and more importantly, open for Robert Kelly, on said cruise.       Comedy competitions are weird. Basically, ya gotta just view them as stage time and stage time is cool. With 10 people doing 5 minutes time, it's anyone frikkin game. Which is exciting and irritating at the same time. Sometimes these contests favor newer comics because more established comedians are used to having 20+ minutes to ease in and get comfy. I've seen some headliners take 5 minutes just to introduce themselves and say their name (and others crush for 5). Whereas newer comics may only have 5 minutes of material, so it's jokey joke time right from the get. ...
